Smooth, healthy-looking hair after a professional hair botox repair treatment

Hair Botox in Pitampura

A repair treatment, not a straightening one — deep protein filling for damaged, frizzy or over-processed hair, with your natural movement intact.

If you're searching for hair botox in Pitampura, start with the thing most salons won't tell you: hair botox has nothing to do with botulinum toxin, and nothing is injected. The name is marketing. What it actually is — a deep-conditioning filler treatment that packs proteins, amino acids and lipids into the gaps in damaged hair strands, then seals them. The result is hair that looks fuller, glossier and far less frizzy, without the straightening chemicals used in keratin or smoothening.

At N Salon (formerly Cut & Style, Harsh Vihar), hair botox starts at ₹6,000 for women and ₹3,000 for men, with the final price set by hair length and density at a free consultation before anything is opened. It is our go-to recommendation for hair that is chemically tired — over-coloured, over-straightened, or simply not holding moisture the way it used to.

Hair botox vs keratin vs smoothening — the honest comparison

These three get sold interchangeably and they are not interchangeable. Read this before you book anything:

TreatmentWhat it does, who it suits, how long it lasts
Hair Botoxfrom ₹6,000 women · ₹3,000 menRepairs, doesn't straighten. Fills damaged strands with protein and moisture. Keeps your natural curl pattern and movement. Best for weak, brittle, over-processed or ageing hair, and for anyone who wants softness without a poker-straight finish. Lasts 2–3 months.
Keratinfrom ₹5,000 women · ₹3,000 menTames frizz, keeps movement. Coats the hair in keratin to smooth the cuticle and add gloss, while leaving some wave. Best for wavy, frizzy or colour-treated hair. Lasts 3–5 months.
Smootheningfrom ₹5,000 women · ₹2,500 menStraightens. Chemically restructures the bond so hair dries straight and sleek. Best for thick, coarse or very frizzy hair where you want the straightness to be the point. Lasts 4–6 months, with visible regrowth after.

Short version: botox is a repair treatment, smoothening is a straightening treatment, keratin sits in between. If your hair is damaged, do botox first and consider smoothening later — never the reverse.

Is hair botox safe? The straight answer

This is the most-searched question about the treatment, and it deserves a real reply rather than reassurance. Hair botox is applied to the hair shaft, not the scalp or bloodstream, and it contains no botulinum. The genuine concerns are narrower than the internet suggests:

  • Formaldehyde. Some cheap "botox" and keratin products release formaldehyde when heated — that's what causes the eye and throat irritation people report. Ask any salon, including us, which system they use and whether it is formaldehyde-free. If they can't answer, walk out.
  • It is not permanent. The effect washes out over 2–3 months. Anyone promising a permanent result is describing a different, harsher treatment.
  • Protein overload is real. Hair that is already protein-heavy can turn stiff and brittle if you repeat the treatment too often. Every 10–12 weeks is plenty; more is not better.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding. We don't take these bookings. There is no strong evidence of harm, but there's no good reason to take the risk either.

Who we'll tell not to bother

Hair botox is genuinely useful for damaged hair — and genuinely a waste of ₹6,000 if your hair is healthy. If your hair is in good condition and you just want it smoother for an event, a blow-dry (from ₹400) or a hair spa ritual (from ₹1,200) will do the job for a fraction of the price. If your hair is severely chemically damaged, we may recommend two repair rituals a fortnight apart before doing botox at all. We would rather have you back next month than sell you the expensive thing today.

Aftercare — what actually protects the result

  • Wait 48–72 hours before the first wash, and skip tying it tight in that window.
  • Use a sulphate-free shampoo — sulphates strip the treatment out fastest.
  • Rinse in cool water and air-dry when you can.
  • Space colour and botox at least two weeks apart; colour first, botox second.
  • Expect to repeat at 10–12 weeks, not sooner.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does hair botox cost in Pitampura?
Hair botox at N Salon Pitampura starts at ₹6,000 for women and ₹3,000 for men. The final price depends on hair length and density and is confirmed at a free consultation before we start. A plex bond-repair add-on is ₹1,000 if your hair needs it.
What is hair botox, and is Botox actually injected?
No — nothing is injected and there is no botulinum toxin involved. Hair botox is a deep-conditioning filler treatment that fills the gaps in damaged hair strands with proteins, amino acids and lipids, then seals the cuticle. The name is purely marketing.
What is the difference between hair botox and keratin?
Hair botox repairs; keratin smooths. Botox fills and rebuilds damaged strands while keeping your natural curl pattern, and lasts 2–3 months. Keratin coats the hair to tame frizz and add gloss with some movement retained, and lasts 3–5 months. Smoothening is the one that actually straightens, lasting 4–6 months.
How long does hair botox last?
Two to three months for most hair types. It washes out gradually rather than growing out with a regrowth line, so there is no awkward stage. We recommend repeating it no sooner than every 10–12 weeks to avoid protein overload.
Does hair botox have side effects?
Applied properly it is a low-risk treatment — it sits on the hair shaft, not the scalp. The real concerns are formaldehyde-releasing products used by some salons when heated, protein overload from repeating it too often, and the fact that it is temporary. We do not take bookings during pregnancy or breastfeeding as a precaution.
Can I colour my hair after hair botox?
Yes, but leave at least two weeks between the two, and do the colour first where possible. Colouring immediately after a botox treatment strips some of the benefit and stresses the hair unnecessarily.
